Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed memories of living with an exchange family in Spain when she was 15, in her latest GOOP newsletter.
The 37-year-old actress, who is married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, told of her love for Spanish food after taking the trip when she was a teenager.
She said: “When I was 15 I lived in a little Spanish city called Talavera de la Reina with the Lazaros, my exchange family. My Spanish mama Julia is an incredible cook and introduced me to the cuisine of the Iberian peninsula – which is always best home-cooked.
“In the evenings, the typical Spanish dinner is lighter than the meat and rice dishes often found at lunchtime. This menu is what you would find at my family’s house on a weeknight.
“Spanish tortilla cut into small pieces, some manchego, a glass of wine, gambas and pan con tomate. Perfect.”

Jon Gosselin was ordered by a court to pay his divorcing wife, Kate, $180,000, according to a source.
The reality stars have been warring since Jon pulled the plug on filming of Kate’s new reality show, Kate Plus 8, by ordering network TLC off his property.
Kate whipped Jon into emergency court to claim $232,000 in funds she alleges he took from a joint bank account.
She claimed he was in contempt of their court order relating to the divorce they both filed for in recent months. Kate’s attorney Mark Momjian stated: “The remaining sum of $55,000, which Ms Gosselin used for household bills and expenses relating to the children, will be subject to further determination by the arbitrator at a later date.”
Jon’s deadline for paying the $180,000 is October 26. Kate will have to provide the court with an inventory of her expenses.

Hilary Swank says she is so comfortable being nude that her boyfriend’s six-year-old son Sam doesn’t “look twice” when he walks into her bedroom and finds her naked.
The 35-year-old actress confesses to US Marie Claire that she doesn’t wear any clothes in bed.
“I don’t sleep in anything,” she says in the November issue. “Well my boyfriend’s son is six-years-old and you wonder at what age you should stop walking around nude. But he doesn’t look twice; he doesn’t think about it yet.”
The two-time Oscar winner has been dating John Campisi since her split with husband Chad Lowe two years ago.
Swank, who stars as one of the first female pilots, Amelia Earhart, in her new movie Amelia, says she would like to have children of her own one day.
She says: “When the time is right, I’ll know. I am aware that next week [at the time Marie Claire went to press] I turn 35. But I am also aware that the timing has to be right.”
She admits her break-up from Chad was hard.
“Going through a divorce is horrible,” she says. “It’s dreams crumbling; it’s your family, your whole life, all your security dissolving.
“Having been with Chad so young – we met when I was 18 – it was all I knew. It is really hard. I certainly don’t wish it on anyone.”
