It looks like becoming an actor wasn’t enough for 50 Cent as the rapper has decided to get more involved with movies behind the scenes with his new production company Mayweather Productions. 50 Cent’s partner in the new venture, Floyd Mayweather Jr., spoke about the company saying “We’re going to do what we normally do: sit in a room and brainstorm and try to come up with new ideas … you know, outside the box. Be creative and just work together and try to be positive. That’s the main thing. It’s about working hard, being positive and working together.” I’m entirely sure of this but it’s his money that’s getting wasted.

The full version of the unreleased 50 Cent track called �Sunday Morning� has finally arrived. A snippet of the song leaked back in late 2009. Then a DJ promised that he would be releasing the full song in May 2010 but it wasn�t until last week that the song leaked in its entirety. The song is good and has a great vibe. The rapper kills it in the verses. The song was actually crafted during the recording sessions to 50 Cent�s fourth studio album �Before I Self Destruct� but it failed to make the final cut. I�m not entirely sure why though because I think the song is great and definitely better than some of the music that did make its way into the CD.

50 Cent Victim of Burglary

Two men were arrested earlier this week for breaking into 50 Cent�s 52-room Connecticut mansion. The police were alerted of the break in around 6 in the morning when the rapper�s security team found a suspicious car in the driveway. Cops arrived to discover the robbers red handed with one of the thieves found hiding in the closet chugging a bottle of wine. Officials say that the men entered through an unlocked door and were in possession of marijuana when they arrived at the home. Both men are being held on a $50,000 bond. There was no word if 50 Cent was at home at the time.

50 Cent is getting sued

And it�s not just any kind of lawsuit but the worst kind: the copyright infringement. It looks like a young rapper from Atlanta, who ironically goes by the name Young Caliber, is suing 50 Cent for the �I Get Money� track which he allegedly purchased from producer Apex before it was recorded by 50 Cent. This is what Young Caliber�s lawyer said on the matter: “The misappropriation of copyright-protected material is an endemic problem in the music business, and particularly in the genre of hip-hop/rap. This is one such case. Our client was granted exclusive rights to the ‘I Get Money’ instrumental and was unceremoniously cut out of the loop when the defendants realized they had a huge hit on their hands.” This one is a big woops for 50 Cent. Well, he will still have his diamonds.

Michael Jackson�s first posthumous LP �Michael� leaked on the internet recently and with it, one of the most anticipated songs to listen to. I�m talking about the collaboration that the King of Pop recording with 50 Cent called �Monster�. The track was produced by Teddy Riley and I absolutely love it. It�s a funky song where both the iconic singer and the rapper killed it. While the song was recorded several years ago, it sounds like something that would work out in the current market of the music if it�s released in the right manner. What do you think of the track?

Talk show host Chelsea Handler and 50 Cent haven’t gotten together as yet, but it could be on the cards, according to reports. After being snapped at a bar in New Orleans, rumours began to circulate about the 35-year-old comedienne and rapper. An inside source has told E! News, “They haven’t hooked up, but she’s open to it.” 50 Cent recently took to his Twitter account about the funny lady, posting, “I love me some chelsea handler yal see her show tonight she is so funny to me.” A representative for Handler told E! Online, “She’s saving her comments for her own show.”

There comes a time in a man?s life when all he wants to do is settle down and just have a family of his own? or at least day-dream a bit about doing that. It seems that time has come for 50 Cent and he decided he would like to share his thoughts with all of us. This is what he said abut the matter: “I would kiss Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Rihanna. I would marry Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Rihanna in Africa, I’d have 3 wives! And I would avoid wearing condoms and have really big families.” Such a great marketing scheme and 50 Cent wants to take it to Africa? Those are like the top three female pop artists? they probably make more in a month combined than 50 Cent does in a decade.

The rapper is apparently a strong believer in the fact that his celebrity status will be much greater after he dies. This is what 50 Cent said on the matter: “As an artist you’re greater in your absence than in your presence. Everyone liked Michael Jackson more the week after he passed away than the week before. Maybe they’ll like me more when I’m gone. I’d definitely like to be remembered as a great artist.” Well, 50 Cent should know that the Michael Jackson thing wasn?t all due to the fact that he was such a great artist, but because of all of the media coverage. 50 Cent shouldn?t just lay on his back, there is much work to be done before being remembered as a great artist after dying? and anonymity during life sure helps.

50 Cent stopped by The Tyra Show on the episode which aired this past Tuesday to talk about his new CD, book, movie and cologne. The 34-year old rapper shared what it was like to film a nude scene in his upcoming flick and revealed a wad of cash in his back pocket. The high roller said that he always carries around $25,000 in cash on him ?just in case something happens?. Something like what? An arrest that he may need to get bail for, maybe? He said ?I like to have cash on me because it feels like I have money.? Like his bank statements couldn?t tell him that!

It?s not like 50 Cent needs anymore money but it turns out that the rapper and multi-millionaire has written a new movie. The rapper turned actor has actually signed a deal recently with producer Richard Jackson to make three of his screenplays into movies. According to 50, ?When you write a song, you need to say it in three minutes or it is overkill, but I like creating stories and going in depth with characters.? The first movie is set to start production next month and will actually star the rapper and Val Kilmer. The film deals with 50 and Val in the world of illegal weapons dealing and is appropriately called ?The Gun?.

Rapper 50 Cent has launched his own tough times stimulus plan for single mothers.

He asked them to enter an essay contest, 50′s Money For Moms, for which three grand prizes of $10,000 each will be awarded.

50 Cent’s record company, Interscope Records, said in a statement: “During the next week, 50 Cent will not only be on television, on the internet, and at a pair of retail stores promoting his new Before I Self Destruct album and film, but he’ll also be playing Santa this holiday season.”

The company explained: “Amidst tough economic times, 50 Cent is implementing his own stimulus package, specifically to help single mothers. For 50′s Money For Moms contest in conjunction with BET, entrants must explain in 200 words or less why she – or a single mother the writer knows – deserves to win one of three grand prizes of $10,000 each from 50 Cent.”

Rapper 50 Cent spends US$20,000 a week on security

Rapper 50 Cent has revealed he spends a whopping US$20,000 a week on security, he says.

The star, who has been shot nine times, has his entire house surrounded by CCTV cameras to ensure his safety.

50 Cent, who’s real name is Curtis Jackson, also hires bodyguards when he travels, pushing his security bill up to US$1.6 million a year.

He explained: “I spend US$20,000 a week on security. My home is surrounded by cameras.

“I need surveillance not only to look out for me, but also to protect me. You get all these crazy lawsuits and I need cameras to check on things.”

An insider close to the rapper added: “He has armed security with him 24 hours of the day – even while he’s sleeping.

“And every member of his team is a trained professional – some of them ex-secret service… He’s as safe as the president of the United States.”

The rapper recently shared one more of those pieces of info of which you wonder about getting him into legal trouble or not. It seems 50 Cent was a drug dealer back when he was twelve years old? but wait, that?s not all of it! 50 Cent explained why he was forced to get into such a dangerous line of work: “I sold drugs and I was in a situation where there weren’t many options available to me ? I was so young that working wasn’t an option so that’s when I was dealing, when I was 12.” That?s really cute, but shouldn?t he have kept that to himself? He can afford to lose ?a few million? in a recession now, why should he share his childhood drama? Where?s the gain? except for some serious legal issues.

The rapper has been cast in a new police corruption drama called ?Caught in the Crossfires?. His co-stars include the likes of Chris Klein, Adam Rodriguez and Richard T. Jones. The story will follow two homicide police officers caught in the middle of a war between dirty cops and gangs. 50 will play the role of a gang member who is forced to become an informer. What is with rappers wanting to be movie stars?

You might want to sit down for this because I have some ridiculous news. 50 Cent is due to join Fall Out Boy on their ?Believers Never Die Part Deux? tour. Since when did they become buddies? I actually fell out of my seat laughing when I found out about this one. Regardless, the rapper has been announced to be performing at the April 14th date of Fall Out Boy?s tour in Dallas, Texas. 50 has also signed on to open for the band for four other shows, bringing the total number of shows to five. I still can?t get over how strange this pairing is.

Its official! Kanye West beat 50 cent in their sales battle. West?s ? graduation? album outsold 50 Cent?s ?curtis? in the first week sales, 957000 to 691000 copies and that?s a huge margin of victory at about 266000 copies more. But let me tell you every blockbuster opens up in the first week very well because of huge expectations and the underdog will have a quite opening, wait until a couple of weeks have passed and then you should have a re look at the sales number. Wasn?t this exactly what 50 Cent predicted? That Kanye would beat him in the first week but he would bulldozer over him in the following weeks that Kanye?s hype would wear off as soon as people realized that it?s nothing but crap, Not that I care. 50 Cents is a close minded criminal and Kanye is a little Bitch. Kanye might have won the battle and I admit to that but the war is not over. There are small battles that are always won and lost but what matters is who wins that war.
