Eminem and Rihanna are going to reunite to record a sequel to their hit song ‘Love the Way You Lie’. The song, which is simply titled ‘Love the Way You Lie (Part 2)’, will feature the female side of the story line that began in the original song. And it seems that it’s going to be just as intense and emotional and the R&B singer and rapper’s first collaboration. Some of the lyrics go “Even angels have their wing cut schemes, and you take that to new extremes, but you will always be my hero, even though you lost your mind.” The song will be produced by Alex Da Kid and will be featured on Rihanna’s upcoming album ‘Loud’, which hits stores on November 16.
Justin Bieber is in some trouble after a 12-year old boy complained that the pop singer punched him in the face at a laser tag center in Richmond, British Columbia. Staff from the Planet Lazer Entertainment Center said that the teen sensation was “being followed around and heavily targeted during the game.” Sources have confirmed that the boy was hurt but also said that “I cannot confirm the identity of the other party.” A news station said that Justin might be under investigation for assault. I’m not too sure about this. As much as I dislike Justin, I doubt that the usually happy-go-lucky teenager would go around and hit someone.

It seems that the singer has admitted in his autobiography that he is glad that he learned French because it attracts the ladies. I guess the separation is over as Christina Aguilera has decided to file for divorce from her hubby of five years, Jordan Bratman, citing “irreconcilable differences”. The date of separation is listed as September 11, 2010 and there is a prenup in place. According to the divorce petition, the powerhouse pop singer asks that “Earnings and accumulations of [Aguilera] before marriage, during marriage and from and after the date of separation” be considered as separate property. She also wants to stop Jordan’s ability to get spousal support. However, the two will share custody of their 2-year old son Max. This is sad.

It will be entitled “Dancing With Myself” and the singer has promised not to leave out any of the spicy and rather unheard details. It is set to be out in a year or two, probably depending on how much time Billy Idol can rip out of his very busy schedule to get working on this. Has Billy Idol really reached that point in his career where there is nothing more to squeeze out of it but an autobiography?

Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine is the latest celebrity to film a video telling bullied teens that it gets better. The rock star said “People are really brutal and horrible to each other, especially in high school. We’ve all been there, we’ve all experienced it and it can be really traumatizing. Don’t let them win because it’s such a terrible energy to spread….High school is not the end of the line! Motley Crue lead singer Vince Neil recently put in a plea of not guilty to a misdemeanor drunk driving charge from back in June. If you remember, the rock star was pulled over for speeding in Las Vegas while being very over the legal alcohol limit. Though he was not present for the hearing, Vince’s lawyer put in the plea for him. A trial has been set for January 11th. At least he would get to enjoy the holidays before he can get possibly get carted off to prison. Why plead not guilty when all evidence says you are? If he was way over the alcohol limit, I say just throw him in jail. He was extremely lucky that he didn’t hurt anyone.

Nicki Minaj has been credited on seven songs that have ranked on the Nielsen/SoundScan’s list of 200 best-selling songs this year. The songs have a combined sales numbers of 4,298,000 copies. What’s even more amazing than that is that the rapper hasn’t even released her debut album yet! With her own album set to come out at the end of November, I bet that Nicki will be doing even greater damage in the market. She’s going to dominate the music industry for sure. Nielsen/SoundScan better make more room for her on their list and the charts better recognize her immense talent.

Singer Mel B said she trusts her husband because he doesn’t have the energy to cheat on her. The former Spice Girl, whose new reality show It’s A Scary World is about to debut in the UK, revealed why she thinks her hubby Stephen Belafonte will stay faithful. The 35-year-old told British Fabulous magazine: “I trust him to stay faithful because he’s so worn out he wouldn’t have the energy to do it with anybody else.” Stephen also revealed that the pair recently slept together on a flight. He added: “The other weekend, I think we set a world record, she literally had me tapping out till I had nothing left… “And we did it on a flight over to London recently, I won’t say what airline because I don’t want to get us banned.”

Just because Wyclef Jean can’t be President of Haiti doesn’t mean that he’s giving up on being such a preachy person. Sources are confirming that the hip hop singer has accepted a position as a visiting fellow at Rhode Island’s Brown University. For the upcoming school year, Wyclef will be enlightening minds in the African Studies department in a position he says will give him a chance to have “a period of learning and reflection”. Wyclef’s primary objective is to talk about his work with the Haiti Initiative charity organization. Maybe he could enroll in some political science classes while he’s at it so he can have some background for when he wants to run for the presidency again.
According to the band’s manager Irving Azoff, Van Halen is reportedly plotting a tour for next year. Irving revealed the news while fulfilling his duties as Live Nation Ticketmaster chairman at a concert promoters meeting this past Monday. If you’re a fan of the rock icons, don’t get too excited though. Irving has broken promises before. He also promised that Van Halen would have a tour this year but it never happened. It would be cool if the 2011 tour does happen though. But they need to make up for making us anticipate a tour this year that never took place.
Rihanna recently revealed that she and friend Katy Perry are planning to collaborate on a song, either for the Barbadian R&B singer’s upcoming album ‘Loud!’ or for the pop star’s re-release of ‘Teenage Dream’. Rihanna explains “We just clicked. We have similar personalities and a similar sense of humour and from there she just seemed like a really down to earth person. In this industry you don’t meet a lot of people that are genuine, but Katy is such a free spirit, she has no edit button! We want to get in the studio and hopefully make something for this album, who knows – or maybe for her re-release. We want to do something together for sure.” This is interesting considering how Rihanna called Katy and a couple of others generic pop stars during a recent BBC Radio 1 interview.

In a new interview with Glamour magazine, the country singer reveals “Everything that happens to me gets put into a song. For some reason, I’m really comfortable talking about my personal life in songs. There, I don’t hold back: names, dates, times, expressions on people’s faces, exactly where we were and how it felt, what I wish I would have said to them in the moment.” This album could very well be known as the official Taylor Swift autobiography.

The Parents’ Television Council has chosen to pick on ‘Glee’ and Britney Spears by labeling the TV series’ tribute episode to the pop singer as the worst show of the week. Their website criticizes the show for making a tribute to Britney who they deem to be a “toxic teen role model.” They continue on to say “Perhaps most troubling is the deification of a troubled pop star into a symbol of empowerment and self-esteem. Considering her stints in rehab, her very public breakdowns and her questionable parenting skills, there is absolutely no way Spears should be considered a role model. The producers of the show can spare us the old song-and-dance about fallen celebs turning their lives around.” Could they be any more narrow-minded?
