Beyoncé is on course for a bumper haul at the Grammys after receiving 10 nominations.
The sexy diva topped the list as the nominees were announced in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, ahead of country music starlet Taylor Swift with eight nominations and Lady GaGa with five.
Beyoncé is up for album of the year for I Am … Sasha Fierce, song of the year for her anthem Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It) and record of the year for Halo.
Swift and Lady GaGa are also nominated in the album, song and record of the year categories.
The Black Eyed Peas, singer Maxwell and rapper Kanye West – notorious for his behaviour at awards shows – have six nominations each.
The nominees were revealed at an event featuring live performances from acts including The Black Eyed Peas and Jonas Brother Nick Jonas’s solo project, Nick Jonas and the Administration.
The winners will be announced at the Grammys on January 31.
