Miley Cyrus is a Bad Influence

According to a recent online poll, Miley Cyrus is considered to be the worst celebrity influence of 2009. I could have told you that without the poll. The singer managed to rack up a whopping 42% of the votes for that category, edging out Britney Spears and Kanye West. Considering the recent happenings regarding the rapper, you know its bad when youre voted to be worse than he is. Sources are chalking it up to the fact that shes seeking a career separate from Disney and her alter-ego Hannah Montana. It really sounds like Miley is heading down the same path that Britney did.

It appears Miley’s father, Billy Ray Cyrus musician, had at one level discouraged her from leaving Justin Gatson for her present boy friend, Gregg Sulkin. But Billy has come round and has even offered to help Sulkin with his movie career.

Oh my goodness. Absolutely ridiculous. How on earth is Miley Cyrus a bad influence? Because she’s a normal freaking teenage girl? Half the people criticizing her of doing some of these things (the pictures: an atistic form of expression – the pole: a STAGE PROP – the seat belt thing: a DISNEY screw up) have done things way worse. Idiocy.
What about her amazing autobiography, the singing and acting, her huge success, her clohes-line, the freaking CHARITY Miley is a part of? She isn’t a bad influence. She’s a TEENAGER.
