Michael Jackson?s homicide case is almost complete. Sources say that the investigation itself is finished and is expected to be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney in about a month. Medical professionals have been called upon to pitch their thoughts about the evidence and the treatment that the King of Pop received from Dr. Conrad Murray, which should be complete into two to three weeks. LAPD detectives will then round up their report and organize the necessary facts before taking it to the DA. According to insiders, the late singer?s doctor will not be arrested until he?s officially charged with a crime.

Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry vented frustration over Steve Tyler’s injury derailing a summer tour.
Tyler careened backward on a stage in South Dakota in August, injuring himself and forcing the tour’s cancellation.
Perry, who has been promoting his own album, said in an interview: “The tour was building up to be a great tour, and I was pretty [upset], you know.”
Perry said he had not spoken to Tyler in the past five weeks and could not provide any update on his condition. “I don’t know what’s going on with him.”
He mentioned another incident involving Tyler, saying: “I was pretty [upset], because right before that, he had pulled a muscle in his leg. And we had to take two weeks off and we missed probably seven dates.
“All I know is he’s got to get his act together. I mean, he and I haven’t written a song together alone in the same room in over 10 years, so there’s been some changes in paradigm of what Aerosmith is.”
Kanye West seemed to think that if he continued to apologize for what he did at Sunday night?s MTV VMAs, he can make up for what he did. If he didn?t sound like someone younger than Taylor Swift in his apologies, it might. The rapper released another apology via his blog earlier this week and it?s just as crappy as the first one. He said ?I feel like Ben Stiller in ?Meet the Parents? when he messed up everything and Robert De Niro asked him to leave? That was Taylor’s moment and I had no right in any way to take it from her. I am truly sorry.? Who uses a stupid comedy as an analogy for his apology?

The riff-driven track appears on the band’s highly anticipated new album, Black Gives Way To Blue (Virgin/EMI), available September 29th. Taylor Swift has spoken out about the rude and bizarre incident at the 2009 MTV VMAs involving Kanye West, all the while remaining as humble and as professional as ever. Those are some words that you will never hear being used to describe the rapper. When asked about the moments on stage, the country singer said ?Well, I was standing on stage because I was really excited because I had just won the award. And then I was really excited because Kanye West was on stage. And then I wasn’t so excited anymore after that.? Celebrities left and right offered their support to Taylor after the incident but Taylor herself doesn?t hold any ill-will, saying ?I don’t know him, and I’ve never met him, so? I don’t want to start anything because I had a great night tonight.?
Madonna was at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards which were held at New York City?s Radio City Music Hall last Sunday. The 51-year old singer spoke during the Michael Jackson tribute at the beginning of the show and even introduced for Janet Jackson?s performance. The Queen of Pop spoke about her love of Michael and the things that were parallel in their lives. She said that the late singer was ?so unique, so original, so rare. He was a king.? I only have one comment for Madonna though. When talking about someone you?re supposed to be paying a tribute to, I don?t think talking about yourself more is an appropriate thing to do.
The past year has treated many artists in the music industry very well but there are also others that didn?t have as much luck with their new releases. The biggest albums of the year sales-wise are Taylor Swift?s ?Fearless? which sold 3.7 million, Michael Jackson?s ?#1?s? which sold 3 million, Beyonce?s ?I Am? Sasha Fierce? which sold 2.4 million and the soundtrack for the movie ?Twilight? which sold 2.2 million. However, not everyone can do well. The Jonas Brothers fever seems to be dying down because the boys only managed to sell 520,000 copies of their new album. Disney starlet Demi Lovato also bombed selling only 240,000 copies of her album. Jordin Sparks, Green Day and Kelly Clarkson are also on the list of so-called failures.
Susan Boyle wowed millions across the U.S. as she performed her new single on the finale of America’s Got Talent.
In her first Stateside appearance Boyle, 48, belted out her new single Wild Horses to an estimated TV audience of 25 million.
The Scottish star, nicknamed the ‘Hairy Angel’, appeared on stage in a floor-length black gown and was accompanied by a full orchestra.
SuBo brought the studio crowd to their feet during her cover version of the Rolling Stones classic and received a standing ovation as applause rang around the Hollywood theater.
Shakira, Leona Lewis and even Piers Morgan provided entertainment for the results show before chicken farmer Kevin Skinner, 35, was revealed as the winner of the competition.
The country bumpkin walked away with the US$1 million prize and a contract for his own Las Vegas headlining show after beating cancer-survivor and soprano Barbara Padilla.
The country singer from Mayfield, Kentucky said: “I’ve always loved to perform,” “I want to go out there, and give ‘em the best show I can.”
During the finale Shakira wowed the audience as she performed her new hit single She-Wolf.
The sexy star shook her hips and even straddled a speaker as she hit the stage.
In a comedy montage Piers Morgan proved he is a good sport a former magician who had been cast off performed a trick to reveal him with 75-year-old comedienne Grandma Lee in full wedding garb.
British star Leona Lewis also rocked the smoke-filled stage performing her hit single Happy.
Michael Jackson’s youngest son Prince Michael II, aka Blanket, 7, cries himself to sleep every night.
The child, who attended his father’s private burial service, calls out for his “daddy” repeatedly.
Blanket, along with his siblings, Prince Michael I, 12, and Paris Katherine, 11, is in the permanent custody of his grandmother Katherine.
According to a family friend: “He cries himself to sleep and keeps asking where his daddy is. His aunt Rebbie spent the first few nights sleeping on a cot bed beside him because he was scared to sleep alone. He acts pretty wild during the day.”
Paris has dealt with her grief by doing a lot of reading and watercolour painting. She also braids hair often with her cousins, the source said. The children’s cousins have often been mentioned as a boon in helping the children to cope with the sudden and sensationalised death of their only parent.
The source added: “Katherine makes sure that internet access is monitored and time-limited around the house.”
Tony Buzan, an education expert who was consulted by Jackson when he was alive, has spoken about how close and contented the Jackson three were while their father was alive.
He said: “I would watch them coming and going from the international school every day. They left happy, and came back happy. On their return, those three kids could not run any faster from the car to get to their daddy. The kids seemed to enjoy each other’s company. It’s unusual in groups of three, where tensions can often arise.”
Madonna just keeps on blowing minds and breaking records and it looks like she?s not going to stop any time soon. In the September 26th issue of Billboard, the Queen of Pop?s single ?Celebration? has become the singer?s 40th number one single on the Hot Dance Club Play Chart. That?s more hit singles than any other artist in the history of the chart! Talk about achieving a great milestone. I bet the second placer with regards to number one hits doesn?t even come close. Madonna is utterly amazing! Congratulations are definitely due out to her. And you can bet that there?s more where that came from.
If you don?t like Taylor Swift then something must definitely be wrong with you. The 19-year old country singer has got style, class and a voice that is easy to fall in love with. That?s why I?m pretty excite to hear that on October 27th, Taylor will be re-releasing her mega hit album ?Fearless? with all kinds of stuff to come out with it. The re-release will include six bran new songs as well as a DVD with photos, tour footage and her videos, including her comedic clip with T-Pain from the CMT Awards earlier this year. That?s a pretty smart scheme to squeeze every last drop out of fans.
If you thought Courtney Love was on board with having her late husband Kurt Cobain become a playable character on Guitar Hero 5, you might want to think again. The singer?s widow recently took to her Twitter to comment on the game, saying ?For the record this Guitar Hero shit is breach of contract on a Bullys part and there will be a proper addressing of this and retraction. WE are going to sue the shit out of ACtivision we being the Trust the Estate the LLC the various LLCs Cobain Enterprises.? The game?s career mode has the animated Nirvana front man sing Bon Jovi?s ?You Give Love a Bad Name?, yell Flava Flav?s catch phrase and do Bush karaoke. What a travesty!
Several members of Michael Jackson?s family say that they are already talking about lawyers who might represent them in a wrongful death lawsuit against Dr. Conrad Murray and others. However, the death of the King of Pop may prove to be such an economic bonanza that it can crush any lawsuit. In California, the late singer?s family could sue for the economic loss, i.e. the financial support that Michael could have provided if he were alive. But the thing is, his death may actually be an economic gain as it is pretty clear that his death is more profitable compared to the last couple of years of his life. There?s a whole lot more of legal jargon involved but the gist of it is, the Jackson family could still come up with goose eggs.
Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland has praised Beyonce for how she acted at the recent MTV VMAs.
Beyonce, 28, won the video of the year award and gave up her stage time to 19-year-old Taylor Swift.
Kanye West interrupted Swift’s acceptance speech for Best Female Video to say he felt Beyonce deserved to win.
Rowland said: “Beyonce is such a classy, gracious woman. I actually Tweeted that, and everybody was like: ‘It’s so true.’”
She added that she thought Kanye’s interruption was “disturbing”.
She told USmagazine.com: “I think that as a music industry and a fellow artist, it’s important to know that there is room for everybody. Kanye is a genius – no one takes that away from him, but [he should] be moral and be a [good] person.”
Kelly Clarkson is the latest singer to criticise Kanye West’s VMA outburst by calling him a “sad human being” on her blog.
Kelly, 27, was also nominated in the same category as Taylor Swift and Beyonce for the Best Female Video.
At the bash, Kanye jumped on stage while Taylor, 19, was collecting the gong and said that Beyonce, 27, should have won the award.
However, Kelly has since written a letter to Kanye on her blog, saying: “What happened to you as a child? Did you not get hugged enough??
“Something must have happened to make you this way and I think we’re all just curious as to what would make a grown man go on national television and make a talented artist, let alone teenager, feel like s**t.
“I mean, I’ve seen you do some pretty s****y things, but you just keep amazing me with your tactless, a**hole ways. It’s absolutely fascinating how much I don’t like you.”
She went on to say: “I like everyone. I even like my a**hole ex that cheated on me over you… which is pretty odd since I don’t even personally know you.
“The best part of this evening is that you weren’t even up for THIS award and yet you still have a problem with the outcome. Is winning a moon man that much of a life goal?? You can have mine if it will shut you up.”
You can add R&B singer Ne-Yo to the list of celebrity wannabes aiming for a crossover career as he will be taking a break from the music business by joining the cast of ?Battle: Los Angeles?. The science-fiction war film will also star the likes of Aaron Eckhart, Michelle Rodriguez, Bridget Moynahan and Michael Pe?a. Ne-Yo will play a corporal in the platoon fighting off the aliens. It sounds like a lame version of ?War of the Worlds? or ?Independence Day? to me. The singer has also landed a gig with Disney, penning and performing the closing song for ?The Princess and the Frog?.
Members of the late Kurt Cobain’s band Nirvana appear to be backing Courtney Love on the question of using his image on a computer game.
Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl (pictured) said in a joint statement they were “dismayed and very disappointed” over the use by Guitar Hero of an avatar of Cobain. The avatar can be instructed by a player to sing the songs of other musicians.
The pair said: “While we were aware of Kurt’s image being used with two Nirvana songs, we didn’t know players have the ability to unlock the character. This feature allows the character to be used with any kind of song the player wants. We urge Activision to do the right thing in ‘re-locking’ Kurt’s character so that this won’t continue in the future.”
Courtney Love, Cobain’s widow, unleashed an angry Twitter tirade over the matter. The litigious Love is threatening to sue Activision, the maker of Guitar Hero. The company, meanwhile, claims it cleared the rights to use the avatar with Cobain’s estate in a written agreement that was signed by Love.
X Factor judge Simon Cowell has said that his slamming of the Beatles was a joke.
The 49-year-old, who recently stated if the Beatles had taken part in the British TV talent competition, he wouldn’t have put them through to the finals, has now said he was only joking.
Cowell told RadarOnline.com: “Regarding my comments on the Beatles, it was a joke. I have always said they were the group I have always wished I had signed.
“Also, to set the record straight, it was recently reported that I turned down the Spice Girls. In fact, I offered the girls a recording contract before they were signed and actually offered to double the offer they had on the table.”
Rihanna will be making her comeback performance on the premiere night of NBC?s The Jay Leno Show on September 14. This will be her first ever performance ever since she was assaulted back in February. The 21-year old Barbadian singer, along with rappers Jay-Z and Kanye West, will perform ?Run This Town? from Jay-Z?s new album ?The Blueprint 3? which will hit stores on September 11. E! also reports that The Jay Leno show is close to securing Tom Cruise to participate in his new segment ?The Green Car Challenger? wherein celebrities race each other in alternative-fuel vehicles. That sounds interesting.
