Susan Boyle wowed millions across the U.S. as she performed her new single on the finale of America’s Got Talent.
In her first Stateside appearance Boyle, 48, belted out her new single Wild Horses to an estimated TV audience of 25 million.
The Scottish star, nicknamed the ‘Hairy Angel’, appeared on stage in a floor-length black gown and was accompanied by a full orchestra.
SuBo brought the studio crowd to their feet during her cover version of the Rolling Stones classic and received a standing ovation as applause rang around the Hollywood theater.
Shakira, Leona Lewis and even Piers Morgan provided entertainment for the results show before chicken farmer Kevin Skinner, 35, was revealed as the winner of the competition.
The country bumpkin walked away with the US$1 million prize and a contract for his own Las Vegas headlining show after beating cancer-survivor and soprano Barbara Padilla.
The country singer from Mayfield, Kentucky said: “I’ve always loved to perform,” “I want to go out there, and give ‘em the best show I can.”
During the finale Shakira wowed the audience as she performed her new hit single She-Wolf.
The sexy star shook her hips and even straddled a speaker as she hit the stage.
In a comedy montage Piers Morgan proved he is a good sport a former magician who had been cast off performed a trick to reveal him with 75-year-old comedienne Grandma Lee in full wedding garb.
British star Leona Lewis also rocked the smoke-filled stage performing her hit single Happy.
