Singer Mariah Carey and her husband Nick Cannon keep their love alive when they are apart with phone sex, he has revealed.
Comedian and actor Cannon has admitted to keeping the passion alive with Carey, 40, with saucy long-distance phone calls.
The 28-year-old said: “There’s lots of phone sex!”
The pair are currently apart while Carey is travelling around the States to promote her new album Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel and her new scent, Forever.
Britney Spears recently gave a fan of hers something to be really happy about. The 27-year old singer met a lucky fan at her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame to give him a free ticket to her concert at the Staples Center. Where was I when this happened? In other Britney news, the pop star just announced that she will celebrate her 10 years in the music industry by releasing ‘The Singles Collection’ on November 24, as well as a new single called ‘3’ which went to radio just yesterday. If you’ve already heard it, what do you think?
Michael Jackson boasted that he was the first black performer to make Scottish and Irish girls scream, according to a new book.
The singer allegedly said that he was a sex symbol to a whole generation of white girls – which he claimed angered the “white press” so much, they began to invent bizarre stories to discredit him.
Jackson made the claims in a series of taped interviews from 2000-2001, with his pal and former spiritual adviser, Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, which have now been published in a new book, The Michael Jackson Tapes.
In one interview, Jackson said: “You had [Harry] Belafonte, you had Sammy [Davis Jr], you had Nat King Cole. People loved their music, but they didn’t get adulation, they didn’t get crying.
“I was the first one to break the ice, break the mould, where white girls, Scottish girls, Irish girls are screaming, ‘I’m in love with you, I want to…’ “And… the white press, they didn’t like that, and that’s why they started the stories – ‘He’s weird, he’s gay, he sleeps in a hyperbaric chamber, he wants to buy the Elephant Man’s bones.’
“Anything that turned people against me. They tried their hardest.”
Boteach said on the Today show earlier today that Jackson had once told him that he didn’t want to appear in public anymore because “I am like a lizard. It is horrible”.

People Magazine

Watch Tokio Hotel In The Studio Recording Humanoid
Sneak a peek into the life of Tokio Hotel recording their new album Humanoid. Bill shows off his vocal recording room and discusses his extremely loud recording technique. “Most people use regular ‘headphone volume,’ but I can’t stand it. I need to feel like I’m onstage and I’m standing beside the other guys,” says the front man. The high-tech vocal mixer used on the tracks is what brought the band to Los Angeles to record. The clip also shows guitarist Tom Kaulitz playing the piano – a skill that most fans didn’t know he had. Visit MTV’s Buzzworthy blog for the rest of the story, and look out for the release of Humanoid on October 6th.
The fact that her movie just got pushed back doesn’t seem to have any effect on Miley Cyrus as she continues to live large. After her concert at the Staples Center on Tuesday night, sources say that the singer showed up at the newly opened Katsuya LA live with an entourage of 100 people. The Disney star wanted a little privacy for her group so she bought out the restaurant for the night. Miley danced the night away while sipping on Katsuya’s Watermelon Elixir. It’s not an alcoholic beverage but let’s be honest – if she wanted one, she could have one.
The new single from Michael Jackson, entitled ‘This is It’, will be released posthumously on October 12th followed by a 2-disc album of the same name on October 27th. The album release will also coincide with the worldwide premiere of the film documenting the King of Pop’s preparation for his comeback tour. The first disc will feature the original album masters of the late singer’s greatest hits arranged in the same order as they appear in the film, ending with 2 versions of the new song. The second disc offers unreleased versions of Michael’s classic tracks, including a spoken word poem from Michael called ‘Planet Earth’. It also includes a 36-page commemorative booklet with exclusive pictures of his last rehearsal.
Conrad Murray’s girlfriend, Nicole Alvarez, has testified before a grand jury in Los Angeles.
Prosecutors in LA sought a grand jury in determining their indictment in a homicide investigation of Michael Jackson’s death in June. That inquiry now centres on Murray, Jackson’s personal doctor.
Murray was with the singer in the early hours of the day he died and has admitted to administering drugs found in Jackson’s body to lethal levels.
The deliberations of a grand jury are sealed from the public. Joseph Low, lawyer for Alvarez, said his client co-operated in providing a statement.
He said: “The grand jury is a tool that a very professional and thorough prosecutor will use to conduct an investigation, and that’s what was done here. We willingly participated in that.”
Reports are saying that Madonna will be making a return to Saturday Night Live some time this season. The Queen of Pop is apparently set to make her return after 16 years and word has it that she’s also likely to be performing. However, execs of the show are trying to have her do both – perform and host, that is. I think that the singer should do it all! I just hope that she doesn’t give current boy toy Jesus Luz any cameos unless he’s shirtless and he doesn’t talk at all. However, I do welcome cameos from her daughter Lourdes and her son Rocco.
In an in depth interview with Oprah, child star Mackenzie Philips discussed her long battle with addiction, her high profile family and her new memoir ‘High on Arrival’. She talked about being introduced to drugs by her father, saying “My father [Mamas and Papas founder, John Phillips] shot me up for the first time.” What kind of father shoots up his own kid? And if you thought that wasn’t sickening enough, Mackenzie also talked about being seduced by Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger saying “Mick Jagger locks the door and he says, ‘I’ve been waiting for this since you were 10 years old.’” Gross!

Singer Britney Spears has given a fan a free ticket to one of her concerts.
The Piece Of Me singer has recently handed out a free ticket to a lucky fan at her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, to her gig at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles.
The 27-year-old popstar has also just announced she will celebrate ten years in the music industry by releasing a Singles Collection in November.
Spear’s burst onto the music scene back in 1998 with her famous single ‘Baby One More Time’. Britney’s new single, ‘3′, is going to hit the airwaves soon.
Amy Winehouse is about to deliver some new music. It’s just too bad that it’s not her own. The singer is starting her own record label called Lioness Records. Her official website explains “Amy wanted to create a label where she could sign and work closely with a small roster of artists she really believed in. Lioness symbolises strength, pride and confidence, and will be a place where the artist is given the time, space and the opportunity to develop and flourish.” The first artist on her label is her goddaughter, 13-year Dionne Bromfield from London. She said “The first time I heard Dionne sing, I couldn’t believe what I was hearing…such an amazing voice from such a young girl. I’m just so proud of her. I’m very lucky to have a record label. I’ve got all these people that I love, that are really talented — and Dionne is my number one.”
Jay-Z defended his protégé Kanye West during a BBC Radio 1 interview last week saying that he didn’t feel it was right for Kanye to be receiving so much backlash from the VMA’s Taylor Swift debacle. The veteran rapper admits “Of course it was rude because it was her moment, but that’s the way he really felt…I think it was rude, but the way they’re treating him … He’s on the cover of every paper. He didn’t kill anybody. No one got harmed.” Maybe he should try watching the video and take a closer look at the country singer’s face and really ask himself if no one was harmed.
Kevin Jonas has revealed that he will be having both of his brothers as best men at his wedding.
Kevin, 21, recently proposed to his girlfriend Danielle Deleasa and there was speculation as to who he would choose as his best man.
He said to PEOPLE: “I decided that it’s going to be both Joe and Nick. Dani has an older and a younger sister, so it works out really well. I can have two best men, and she can have two maids of honour.”
Brothers Nick, 17, and Joe, 19, are living up to their squeaky-clean image and say that his bachelor party will be a clean affair.
Nick said: “It will be good, clean fun. We’re going to have a good time with friends and family.”
Joe added: “It won’t be in Vegas. Vegas is not really the ideal place. We are thinking somewhere even cooler and better.”
Nick added: “It’s a big deal, but Kevin kind of has already planned it himself. He will give us suggestions on what he would like and we keep on trying to tell him no.
“We’re like: ‘You have no involvement in planning this. Just get ready to have a good time.”

All American Rejects front man Tyson Ritter recently told MTV that he would be absolutely thrilled to be able to work with Barbadian singer Rihanna on a track or two for an upcoming album. He said “I actually met with her a couple of weeks ago and the funny thing is, I actually don’t remember half of it. I remember the first half of meeting her, but then, as the night progressed, somebody decided to drink too much Jameson..But seriously, she’s such a sweet girl that I’m gonna try to give her a little piece of my heart. I wanna get in a room with her, and I wanna see what flies. I’ve got some songs for her, like, little things written, and I wanna see what she wants. See if she wants something aggressive and rock, and I’ve also kinda got some really fun, clubby ideas.”

Beyonce’s concert in Malaysia will go ahead despite protests from an Islamic political party that her concerts were immoral and unclean.
In 2007, the bootilicious American sensation cancelled concerts in Malaysia for fears of protest. But the concert is set for October 25 at the Bukit Jalil national stadium despite the objections of the Pan-Malaysian Islamic party [PAS].
Beyonce Knowles’s tour organiser announced the concert would go ahead on its website but could not be reached for comment.
The PAS party called for Danish band Michael Learns To Rock to be banned from performing earlier this month on the basis of Muslim fasting during Ramadan. But the group went ahead and performed without incident.
PAS remained opposed to Beyonce, telling a wire service on Sunday: “We oppose the holding of such concerts and we will take action to prevent such a concert from taking place in Malaysia. This performance is not suitable for Muslims as her skimpy attire and behaviour onstage are immoral and lead to unclean behaviour.”
It’s a pretty tough year for the Beastie Boys, considering that Adam ‘MCA’ Yauch was diagnosed with salivary gland cancer, so the band had to push back the release of ‘The Hot Sauce Committee, Pt. 1’ and cancel their summer tour. However, the boys aren’t going to let their fans down as they have digitally re-released their 1998 album ‘Hello Nasty’ with loads of extras attached, including 21 bonus tracks of “rarities and skits” from the Beasties. But if you’re willing to wait until October 30th, the physical re-release of the album will also include a limited edition 4-album vinyl release (only 1,500 copies total) that includes the digital download as well as an “8 panel gatefold package, lenticular cover, and hardcover ‘coffee table book’ case.”
