Travis Barker has taken to Twitter to mourn the loss of his close friend DJ AM.
The pair were close pals and were the only survivors of an horrific plane crash back in September 2008 that left them both badly burned.
DJ AM was found dead in his New York apartment on August 28. He was 36.
Now Barker has been leaving messages on his Twitter page, revealing how much he is already missing DJ AM, whose real name is Adam Goldstein.
Barker wrote: “Don’t know how i am gonna play 2night but i am for AM. My brother is gone. i love u and miss u, i’ll never forget all the good times we had.”
He then shortly followed that with another Tweet: “I’ll never forget everything we’ve been thru and every time i play the drums i’ll think of you. U were an amazing friend/DJ/human being.”
And finally Barker wrote: “Rest In Peace my brother, this really f***s me up.”
Michael Jackson’s death from a heart attack was concealed for three hours in a bid to change the circumstances of his death, according to claims made in the UK Mirror newspaper.
Police suspect the singer’s body was moved as part of a bid to make circumstances show he killed himself with propofol.
Steven Hoefflin, a doctor and friend of the Jackson family, said after speaking to doctors involved: “They say he had lividity, which means his blood had already sunk to the back of his body. This indicates Michael’s heart had stopped hours earlier.”
Los Angeles County Coroner experts reportedly found the pattern of lividity, or livor mortis, was interrupted.
Forensic pathologist Cyril Wecht, who is not involved in the Jackson case, said: “If someone carried the body from one room to another, the livor would be broken where contact with the body was made. If one person held his ankles and the other held him under his arms, there would be corresponding white interruptions of livor mortis in those spots.
According to Comscore, Creed isn?t having the comeback that they were hoping for. First off, a comeback implies that people are rejoicing that you have returned. But when no one shows up, you might as well have just stayed home. At the past three shows that the returning band played in the New York and New Jersey areas, the venues did not even reach half the capacity. At the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, a venue with room for 25,277 people, only 6,841 people were in attendance. Now that is what you call one epic burn. Pack it up boys, you?re officially done.
Recently, an unheard interview with John Lennon has surfaced which featured the former Beatles band member putting his supposed comrades on blast. When questioned about the interview, Paul McCartney insists that it was probably drugs that made John speak ill of him, as well as recall that John often didn?t mean half of the things he said. Paul said ?John said so much crap that he later said he hadn’t meant. It’s bullshit. We were there. We all enjoyed it. I never really criticised John. I’m not that critical. It’s a question of personalities?Whatever bad things John said about me, he would also slip his glasses down to the end of his nose and say, ‘I love you’. That’s really what I hold on to. That’s what I believe. The rest is showing off.?
Michael Jackson may have collected a huge fortune during his career, $1,360,839,979 to be exact, but there was little cash to be spent before the King of Pop passed away. According to financial documents, the late singer?s cash only totalled to just 0.05% of his net worth, about $668,215. His assets include real property worth $73,475,000 (Neverland and Encino home), restricted cash of $10,696,764, media archival materials worth $20,000,000, MJ Publishing Trust worth $85,000,000, professional equipment worth $1,000,000, and automobiles, antiques, collectibles and other personal property worth $20,000,000. That?s a lot of money in assets. I don?t know whether he?s a hoarder or just smart.

Buckcherry will be their opening act. The music legends promise a new stage show with all the new costumes and effects that only the ?hottest band in the world? could deliver. Front man Gene Simmons said ?For 35 years, KISS raised the bar for what a rock concert should really be. This year is no different – all new, all killer? all KISS! The master’s class in rock is in session! KISS rules. Oh yeah!?
There?s a clear reason for the divorce between Kelis and Nas and it?s all about the money. According to legal documents filed by Kelis? lawyer, the financial wizards have reviewed the earnings of both parties and they?ve come to a couple of conclusions. Nas earns around $245,000 a month with Kelis only earning around $13,700 a month. The singer should then get child support totalling $17,225 a month and spousal support totalling $72,728 a month. The rapper should also pay retro child support totalling $29,552 and retro spousal support totalling $281,571. I?m willing to bet that seeing all those numbers made Nas dizzy.
The film which documented the final weeks of Michael Jackson?s life as he prepared for his comeback tour will be released by Sony worldwide on October 28th and will only have a limited run of just two weeks in theater. The studio describes the film, ?This is It?, as an ?intimate portrait of Michael Jackson as you’ve never seen him before.? It will showcase the King of Pop as he rehearsed for his upcoming shows at London?s O2 Arena that were supposed to kick off mid-July. The director, Kenny Ortega, also talked about the film, saying ?This film is Michael’s gift to his fan. It’s a very private, exclusive look into a creative genius’s world. With this film, we get a rare portrait of Michael as he prepares for his final curtain call and what I believe was going to be his master work.?
Michael Jackson’s love interest in the Thriller video, Ola Ray, is a creditor of his estate, court records show.
Ray, an actress, alleged in April that the late King of Pop failed to pay her royalties on the video for the past four years.
Ray’s attorney filed paperwork in Los Angeles last week stating she is a creditor to the singer’s estate and is owed an undetermined amount of money.
That suit, and two others filed by Thriller director John Landis, is yet to be settled. One of Landis’s lawsuits claimed he was not paid royalties on the Thriller video for several years.
Fall Out Boy singer Patrick Stump has been arrested on a traffic warrant for driving without a licence.
The rocker was arrested in Hollywood in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
A warrant had been issued for his arrest for the driving offence by a Beverly Hills court.
Stump was released on $15,000 bail at about 4.30am.
It is not the first time Stump has been in trouble with the law.
Cops threatened to arrest him and Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz last December for trying to play an impromptu gig in a New York park without a licence.
The Broadway adaptation of ?Spider Man? is having difficulty getting into the Great White Way but that?s not stopping U2?s Bono from giving away details about what the show is supposed to be like, including describing what kind of character the superhero would be. The singer said ?Our Peter Parker is much more?not Kurt Cobain, but a kind of slacker, a more kind of shy sort of guy.? Bono also said that the show will touch both opera and rock n roll. It?s not surprising considering it?s a musical of a different kind. What is surprising though is Bono?s praise for actress Evan Rachel Wood, saying ?She’s the greatest actor of her generation, she’s the one to watch. She happens to sing like a bird, it’s like a true voice. She’s a very pure spirit and a very bright mind and she brings the part of MJ to life really.?
Dannii Minogue says fellow X Factor judge Cheryl Cole promised her a kiss – but never delivered.
Minogue said Cole pledged she would kiss her if she won the show. When Cole did win – with Alexandra Burke – she forgot to kiss Minogue, however.
The pair’s alleged rivalry has been the subject of gossip in the past but co-judge Simon Cowell earlier said the two had patched things up ahead of the new X Factor series.
“The show ended on a high for Cheryl and I guess in all the excitement she forgot, I’d completely forgotten until now – well I guess I’d better chase her this year. Maybe we’ll raise the stakes – who knows?”
Cowell also said he was thrilled with a new format for the show that puts would-be contestants before live audiences. He said: “It’s the best decision I have made on The X Factor. It really needed that extra buzz.”
Although he has been rumoured to be considering an exit from the show, he spoke enthusiastically. “I’m absolutely loving it this year. It’s given me a real boost, too.”
American TV hosts could not contain their excitement about X Factor’s Danyl Johnson as they played his stunning audition on their show.
Johnson got his own segment on NBC’s Today Show, in which he was compared to overnight British singing sensation Susan Boyle.
Johnson wowed judge Simon Cowell and has since become an internet sensation after his audition was posted on YouTube.
The Today Show is now reportedly trying to land Johnson for a performance on its hugely popular morning show.
“He does seem to have great range, but he also has this incredible presence,” said co-host Matt Lauer.
“If you want to go online and watch his whole audition, it is just extraordinary, his presence onstage and how he captivated the audience and judges.”
Johnson was hailed by Cowell as the best first audition he had ever seen when he performed a rendition of a Beatles track, With A Little Help From My Friends.
Now Johnson is being tipped as a favourite to win the talent show.
HINDUS are reportedly critical of Hollywood’s association with Tantra as they say it is more than just sex.
Sting’s daughter Coco Sumner was recently in the headlines when she talked about the misinterpretation that her dad and mum Trudie Styler had eight-hour tantrix sex sessions.
Actress Heather Graham also claims she has ventured into tantric sexual healing and Scarlett Johansson has previously claimed she has practised the art of tantric sex with her boyfriend.
Acclaimed Hindu Statesman Rajan Zed has said that Tantrism was a major channel in Indian religious traditions in Hinduism as well as an influence on Buddhism and Jainism.
Zed, who is president of the Universal Society of Hinduism, has pointed out that Tantra, which is a method of spiritual self-culture, was divine revelation and its history dates back to the fourth century.
He added that Hindus welcome Hollywood immersing itself in Hinduism but celebrities should take it seriously and not just flirt with its terminology, concepts and not only use it as a fashion statement.
Joe Jonas will be serving as a guest judge for this week?s set of American Idol auditions. It also seems that we?ll be seeing more guest judges as the season goes by. An insider recently told Pop Tarts that ?At this stage it doesn?t look like Paula [Abdul] will be replaced by one person. The celebrity judges are working really well for now.? Other celebrities who will be joining Season 9 regular judges Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi include the likes of Shania Twain and Jennifer Lopez. Victoria Beckham and Mary J Blige have already finished their run as guest judges. Also, the original American Idol, Kelly Clarkson, is said to be in negotiations to be a guest judge.
American Idol alum Chris Daughtry is getting ready to hit the road with his band, Daughtry, for a tour this fall in support of the group?s number 1 album ?Leave This Town?. The tour will kick off on October 19th in Topeka, Kansas and will wrap up in Evansville, Indiana on December 20th and the band plans to fill arenas all across the country. That sounds like a big risk to me. Although they have managed to get four number 1 singles with ?Leave This Town?, I?m not sure if they have the star power to fill such large venues.
Lit?s drummer, 39-year old Allen Shellenberger recently passed away. The musician lost his battle with brain cancer. He was originally diagnosed back in May of 2008 with a Stage 4 malignant brain tumor. He played his last gig while on tour with Sugar Ray and Everclear last fall. His courage and positive outlook during his battle with cancer was an inspiration
SINGER Johnny Borrell says his band Razorlight nearly missed their set at Chelmsford’s V Festival due to one of their sound technicians falling out of the tour bus on the motorway.
Johnny, 29, said: “I didn’t personally have a drama but in Razorlight, well we did have a big drama, because one of our roadies, you know, he got dead p***ed, and he was on the bus, and he sort of fell out the door of the bus when it was moving along at sort of 70 miles an hour.”
He added to Absolute radio: “I think maybe when he got on the bus, it wasn’t moving and he was already p***ed, and sort of thought, all right I’ll get up and go and take a p*** around the corner or something.”
The sound technician, who goes by the name of Frank, was rushed to hospital where he is now doing well.
The band rocked the V stage at the festival and Borrell said that he was not on the bus at the time.
Those who witnessed Frank’s accident were left distraught, Johnny said, as injured Frank was rolled off the motorway to avoid the traffic.

He said: “Nah. [Laughs]. I think we’re running out of the Diddy shows. You’ll see my name up there as a producer more in the way that it is on Run’s House and Daddy’s Girls.”

British pop star Natasha Bedingfield is joining forces with royalty to raise money for charity.
The singer has teamed up with Prince Harry to raise funds for their African charities.

Also well as hoping to sell thousands of tickets to music fans, they want to have the concert broadcast around the world next year.
Natasha’s mother, Molly Bedingfield, runs her own international children’s charity, Global Angels, for which her daughter is an ambassador.
She has had several meetings with Harry and the team who run his Sentebale charity, which supports orphans and vulnerable children in Lesotho, the tiny nation entirely surrounded by South Africa.
Natasha, 27, first joined forces with Harry, 24, two years ago when she sang at Princess Diana’s memorial concert.
A source close to the project said: “There will be a flagship concert in 2010 that will be televised around the world. Molly and Harry have had several meetings about it.”

The shows were originally to take place at London’s O2 Arena on August 29 and 30. Organisers, however, failed to seal deals with performers.
AEG, the promoters of Jackson’s UK tour, said it still hopes to sponsor an event to honour the late king of pop, who died suddenly on June 25.
A source close to the event said, “If they ever happen, it will not be until next year. We didn’t want to rush out something that was substandard ? we would rather wait until we have got the best possible people.”
A separate tribute concert in Vienna was announced on Monday. World Awards Media, the promoter, said high profile stars and members of the Jackson clan would join the performance currently slated for late in September.
