The music industry has officially gone to the gamers. According to RockGamer, in June, Guitar Hero: Aerosmith turned out to be the band’s biggest hit yet. In the game’s first week of sales, it generated more revenue than any Aerosmith album ever! To give you an idea, the band’s latest studio release ‘Honkin’ on Bobo’ had roughly $2 million in sales on its first week while Guitar Hero: Aerosmith grossed roughly around $25 million. Who knew that playing a glorified keytar would turn out to be so popular? Then again, everyone dreams of becoming a huge rock star.
