The Disney skank?s new record ?Breakout? sold 371,000 copies this past week which makes it the second biggest debut by a female artist this year. She only came in behind Mariah Carey?s first week sales of 463,000 for ?E=MC2? in April. Congratulations go out to Miley. I hope you don?t blow it all on a new camera to take even more skanky pictures of yourself.

The Mail reports that Wino was pretty active this past weekend. First, she soaked her fans and photographers with a ?high-powered jet? from her garage and then proceeded to take the paps on a run around the streets of London. On that run, she slumped down outside a shop and swung at no one in particular where she revealed her seriously black finger. She finally arrived back home by 3:30AM with a black coat over her head and red marks on her face.
Star magazine quotes an insider saying that Avril Lavigne is going to get some work done on her teeth. The insider says ?Avril hates her fangs. She is planning on having them filed down by a cosmetic dentist. It’s just something she has always been insecure about, especially since everyone is staring at her mouth when she sings. As soon as Avril finds some time to take off so it won’t interfere with her singing, she’s getting it done!? What are the fangs interfering with when she hardly sings anyway? If you?ve gone to see her live, it?s pretty obvious sometimes that she?s actually just lip synching. No one jumps around on stage that much and still sound like her record.
Being an emo kid in Russia could be deemed illegal some time soon as the government is trying to pass laws that would heavily regulate emo websites and ban emo and goth dress style in schools and government buildings. The new laws are apparently being driven by fears that emo encourages depression and suicide. Of course, the emo kids of Russia aren?t keen on this. There were mass protests by Russian emo kids just last weekend. Dmitry Gilevich of Russian emo band MAIO said at a protest ?Expressing psychological emotions is not forbidden by law.? More and more countries are beginning to fight against emo ? England, Mexico and now Russia.

American Idol champ David Cook and his runner up David Archuleta were both spotted while passing through LAX airport in Los Angeles on Wednesday. John Mayer was spotted leaving the Hazelton Hotel in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to head to his scheduled concert earlier this week. The 30-year old musician performed at The Molson Amphitheatre as part of his summer tour. John?s new 2 CD set ?Where The Light Is: John Mayer Live In Los Angeles? features 5 acoustic songs, 8 songs with the John Mayer Trio and 9 songs with a full 8-member band. Meet Lesley Roy ? a 21 year old singer/ songwriter/ guitarist hailing from Balbriggan, Ireland. The Irish rocker discovered her passion for music at a young age, learning to play trumpet, saxophone and guitar all by age ten. Further inspired by her mother?s musical background, she began writing songs at fourteen and was well on the way to developing her advanced songwriting abilities.
Roy left the small suburb of Dublin after getting discovered by Jive Records and headed to New York City to begin crafting her album. She worked with plenty of industry heavyweights on the debut effort including Dr. Luke (Kelly Clarkson, Sugababes) and Desmond Child (Bon Jovi, Aerosmith). Her first single, ?I?m Gone, I?m Going? was produced by Max Martin (Britney Spears, NSYNC) who also exec produced the album. Jordin Sparks celebrated Independence Day by performing during Macy?s Fourth of July celebration for the second straight year in New York City on Friday. The 18-year old American Idol champ performed her latest hit ?One Step at a Time?. Before taking the stage, Jordin said ?Having the people be here and lights, it?s like the city that never sleeps. And it?s just like once you get out here you?re just like, ?You know what? I?m good! I can do this! I can perform at this now! I?m good!?? Gym Class Heroes front man Travis McCoy has released a statement in response to his arrest on Tuesday night for assaulting a concertgoer. The statement says ?Somebody in the crowd was taunting Travis with racial slurs. Travis invited him onstage with the intent of calling him out in front of the crowd, with absolutely no intention of a physical altercation. When he tried to help him onstage, the guy hit Travis in the knee area (which has been in a brace because of a recent sprain), forcing Travis to defend himself. At this point, a scuffle broke out. This whole incident is unfortunate. Travis McCoy and Gym Class Heroes are anything but violent??
