Adam Levine and Rihanna took some time to pose for pictures during the taping of MTV?s ?FNMTV? on Wednesday in Hollywood. The pair, along with Adam?s band Maroon 5, sang their new duet version of ?If I Never See Your Face Again? off the re-release of Maroon 5?s album. ?FNMTV? is a music video program on MTV which is focused on premiering new music videos in an attempt to bring back music video programming on MTV. That?s right, get rid of shows like ?The Hills?. The show is hosted by Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz and it airs every Friday at 8PM ET/PT.
They may have had a lot to celebrate about like a number one single on the US singles chart and a top 10 album on the US albums chart but that?s not stopping people from giving consistently awful reviews on Coldplay?s free concert in Madison Square Garden. The band?s front man apparently forgot lyrics and chords on numerous occasions and the rest of the band was just straight-up no good. Then again, it was a free concert. They just got what they paid for ? absolutely nothing. For the sake of Coldplay, let?s hope that the paid concerts on the rest of their tour don?t get reviewed as badly.

Radiohead may not be getting much support from the big name record labels right now but they sure are getting a lot of support from the big name Hollywood actors. Brad Pitt met up with his ?Fight Club? co-star Edward Norton to catch the band in concert together at Civica Arena in Milan, Italy last Wednesday night. Norton commented on their support for the band saying ?Brad and I had a mutual fixation on the second two Radiohead albums.? Marianne Pearl, a friend of Brad and Angelina Jolie?s, was also at the concert. Angelina played Pearl in 2007?s ?A Mighty Heart?.
Kid Rock is refusing to go all in with iTunes because he thinks that the service is screwing artists. To date, there?s only a handful of the singer?s works on iTunes. The rocker tells the BBC that artists don?t get paid enough for downloads from the Apple store. He says that the revenue share model is based on ?an old system, where iTunes takes the money, the record company takes the money, and they don’t give it to the artists.? He also says that the internet ?was an opportunity for everyone to be treated fairly, for the consumer to get a fair price, for the artist to be paid fairly, for the record companies to make some money. But they (Apple) stuck to the old system.?
Rage Against The Machine are considering crashing the U.S. political parties this year when the Republicans and Democrats hold their nominating conventions later this summer reports antiMusic.
While the band only have one U.S. appearance set for this year (Lollapalooza,) Tom Morello said in an interview “There is the possibility that we will be playing at the demonstrations surrounding the Presidential conventions. The Democrats are in Denver, the Republicans are in Minneapolis. But we’re still looking into that.”
RATM staged a protest concert outside the Staples Center in 2000 as the Democrats danced the Macarena while giving their nod to Al Gore. That protest event ended in a near riot as fans and protesters turned violent.

More and more celebrities are using their fame and money to do some good. The latest artist to join the giving train is Juanes. The Latino singer is joining fellow rocker and humanitarian Bono as well as several other artists in Japan to help make a stand against world poverty. Juanes took part in two concerts while visiting overseas in support of the ?One for All Demonstration? which is tied to the Tokyo International Conference on African Development. The goal is to remind the government about keeping the promise of helping people living in poverty. It looks like the Japanese have become Juanes fans too as his single ?Me Enamora? has become a top 5 radio hit there.
