After a highly interesting American Idol performance show, more because of Paula Abdul rather than the Idol wannabes’ performances, another Idol gets the boot. The competition is really tight now as they go from 5 to 4. All the guys were called out first and all of them were deemed safe, leaving Brooke White and Syesha Mercado in the bottom 2. Both were in good spirits as they were asked to sit down for a bit to watch Natasha Beddingfield and Neil Diamond perform. But once it was announced that Brooke was eliminated, tears started to flow. Brooke could hardly even get through her exit song!
