American Idol is set to return for its seventh season in a special two-night, four-hour season premier on January 15 and January 16. Set your TiVos now! The Hollywood round will air on February 12 and the top 24 contestants will be announced on February 13. The first performance episode which features the 12 male finalists will air on February 19 and the first performance episode of the females will be on the following night. The top 12 finalists will then take the stage for the first time on Tuesday, March 11.
Who will be the next Carrie Underwood, Jordin Sparks or William Hung? Judges Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell will be back to help sway your opinion.
