Ashlee Simpson is back with a new single and a new sound. The Salvador Dali inspired video for “Outta My Head (Ay Ya Ya)” is Ashlee’s most interesting and artistic video to date. The video begins with a restless Ashlee in her psychiatrist’s office, but then her imagination takes the wheel. She does everything in the video from floating on a giant Rubik’s cube to transforming into a glam robot. The video is currently making its way into the TRL countdown, and fans should show their love at mtv.com/ontv/dyn/trl/TRLvoting.jhtml to vote.

According to People, the boy band that spawned all boy bands is reportedly reuniting and going to hit the stage one more time. The New Kids on the Block website has been down for years but was recently redesigned and is up and running once again. A source said that an official tour announcement should be made in a few days.

American Idol sweetheart Carrie Underwood has a new music video out for her single ‘All-American Girl’ and she couldn’t be any sweeter. It’s cute, clean and fun. The 24-year old signer puts on at least 25 different hats within the video including painter, fire fighter, doctor, chef, pageant queen, Olympic swimmer, nurse, waitress, police officer, photographer, bride, cowgirl, football player, soldier, flight attendant, cheerleader, sorority girl, newscaster, welder, teacher, graduate, seamstress, mother, ballerina, President of the US, vet, chemist, astronaut, and even herself from her ‘Before He Cheats’ video.
The only thing that would be better for this video was if it wasn’t a complete rip off from Faith Hill’s video of ‘The Way You Love Me’.
Morrissey’s vocal problems have come back to haunt him - the singer was forced to abandon a concert on Friday night after performing just three songs.
The Suedehead singer left the stage at London’s Roundhouse venue after appearing to lose his voice. After a 15-minute delay, it was announced that the 48-year-old could not continue with the show at the Roundhouse.
Last summer, Morrissey abandoned a Boston, Massachusetts concert after croaking his way through seven songs. Suffering from a throat infection, the ex-The Smiths frontman was forced to call off six U.S. shows.
Is it a sign of the end for Morrissey?
Boyband McFly have decided to cut their ties to the record label that made them famous and fly solo. The lads have decided that the time has come to grow up and shake of the shackles of being a boy band.
Oh dear. Could this spell the end for McFly? It does break the first lesson in pop – don’t tamper with a winning formula.
McFly have been disgustingly successful, with seven No1 singles and two No1 albums - not to mention enough awards to buckle a steel shelving unit. But their success is largely down to the clever guidance of their management team and Island, their label.
A source said: “The boys feel they have outgrown the company. Label chiefs have plans for them they disagree with. They are tired of being a boy band. They want to be recognised for their song writing and being more than just a teen act. The time in Australia has given them a chance to put together their battle plan. They are all really excited about the idea of being free to make their own decisions about their future.”

John Mayer has been quite a talked-about blogger but the singer has since deleted all of the entries from his blog on his official website JohnMayer.com. He left a message for his fans saying “DONE & DUSTED & SELF-CONSCIOUS & BACK TO WORK.” He also left a little quote below that saying “There is danger in theoretical speculation of battle, in prejudice, in false reasoning, in pride, in braggadocio. There is one safe resource, the return to nature…”
However, he did link the ‘n’ in speculation to a time travel forum with the topic title of ‘Positive, Negative and O Vortexes’.
Justin Timberlake was spotted as he went out for dinner at Italian restaurant Madeo on Beverly Hills in Los Angeles on Monday. Noticeably missing was actress girlfriend Jessica Biel who is currenly busy in the UK filming her new movie ‘Easy Virtue’.

If someone says the words ‘Hannah Montana fan’, you would think of teenyboppers and little kids dressed up in blonde wigs. That’s why I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t believe me if I tell you that John Mayer is a Hannah Montana fan. But it’s no joke. The douche bag really is. The singer was seen at the Hannah Montana concert in Las Vegas on Saturday night. If I was there, I would have laughed to his face. And I mean, rolling-over-the-floor-laughter. I wouldn’t care if he was just taking one of his nieces or whoever to the show. The point is, he was there!
