Word on the street is that Madonna may soon be preparing for a cameo on the hit TV show The Simpsons. The creators have had many celebrity voice guests on the show that include Britney Spears, Ron Howard and Mel Gibson. Creators are hoping to have Madonna booked this season for a cameo role. Matt Groening is eager to have her because she is one of the big stars that they have not been fortunate enough to have yet. I find it entertaining when The Simpsons feature yellow, cartooned stars as part of the ridiculous humor. Some of the stars have really been quite funny while others, not so much. I?m not sure how funny Madonna will be but it could be worth some kicks, that is, if she even signs on to do it. You just never know with divas these days.
Independence Day is taking on a whole new meaning for Britney Spears this year.
In the wake of a well-publicized falling out with her mother, Lynne, the tarnished pop princess seems to have little interest in mending their relationship.
Sources have speculated that the mother-daughter feud began after Britney blamed Lynne for forcing her into rehab against her will back in February.
Perhaps as a means of retaliation, Britney has now claimed to be “really concerned” about Lynne, while hinting that her mother could possibly use some treatment herself.
“I’m praying for her right now,” Britney told a crowd of photographers trailing her on Sunday. “I hope she gets all the help she needs.”
Her latest comments came after she was deliberately photographed last week delivering paperwork to a dejected-looking Lynne outside a trailer in Valencia, California.
Pete Doherty pleaded guilty to a drug charge Tuesday after arriving so late the judge had issued an arrest warrant.
The 28-year-old rocker admitted possessing quantities of crack cocaine, heroin, cannabis and ketamine as well as to two driving offenses.
Doherty, leader of Baby shambles and the boyfriend of supermodel Kate Moss, has been undergoing drug treatment under court order because of previous convictions.

Both Wilmer Valderrama and Adam `DJ AM’ Goldstein were spotted in the crowd at the Roxy, where stars like Emmy Rossum and Sophia Bush cheered the pop star/actress on. This is a clear showing that the girl is not only a good singer but she can handle her exs well. I do not now for sure but even if she does not have a degree in Public Relations management she wouldn?t be requiring one. I like her for this; it is not always the easiest thing to do when you plan to call your ex-boy friends to your birthday. The entire previous boyfriends mingling together at her party, well what they all might be discussing is all together unthinkable. Good that she can still keep in touch with her exs, even though some of the songs are about them.
Janet Jackson and her long-time boyfriend Jermaine Dupri were spotted leaving a coffee shop in Beverly Hills after having an early breakfast on Wednesday morning.
In the July 2 issue of OK! Magazine, Jermaine confirmed the rumors that Janet is working on a new album with LA Reid at Circle House Studios in Miami. When asked whether he and Janet have plans on starting a family, he said: ?As soon as she finishes her new album. She started in June and she?s working on it right now. Once the album and tours are done and all that?s settled down, it?ll happen somewhere around then.?

Investigators are trying to determine who threw objects from a bluff-top compound owned by musician Kenny G that struck a 9-year-old girl on the head.
The incident happened June 23 when Brooke Porter was at the beach with her family and she was hit in the head, according to Los Angeles County sheriff’s detectives. She needed four stitches to close her wound.
Sheriff’s officials said they believe two teens on the musician’s property ? neither related to him ? threw the objects that hit Brooke 50 feet below.
Although authorities would not say what was thrown, Kenny G’s attorney said Hershey’s Kisses and a Power Bar energy bar were thrown.
“I have been informed a Power Bar hit the girl accidentally on the head,” said attorney Lee Blackman. “It was just an accident.”
He said Kenny G’s wife paid the girl’s medical bill.
The girl’s parents were upset about the incident and believe whoever threw the items targeted Brooke and her brother, Chase, a 12-year-old with Down’s syndrome and autism.
In a plea agreement, rapper Eve admitted Thursday to drunken driving when she smashed her Maserati. She was ordered to pay fines and stay sober, but spared jail time. The rapper, whose full name is Eve Jeffers, 28, did not attend the Los Angeles court hearing. Through her attorney, Blair Berk, she entered a no-contest plea and admitted to driving with a .08 percent blood alcohol level or higher in the April 26 crash in Hollywood. Under the plea, Eve must spend 45 days with an alcohol-monitoring device on her ankle and attend a series of classes for first-time drunken-driving offenders. She was also fined $1,400 and placed on three years’ informal probation. Another singer celebrity whose been found wanting in the hands of law, these people really believe in reckless driving or like banging cars on the streets. There?s nothing to read here just another car busted by alcohol driving.
